Richard Jaffe
Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
Most recently, Mr. Jaffe served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SafeSkin Corporation, the leading global manufacturer of disposable latex gloves for professional healthcare and laboratory workers, which he co-founded in 1988. Under his leadership, the company went public in 1993, was voted Forbes Magazine’s “Best Small Company in America” in 1996, and was purchased by Kimberly-Clark Corporation in 2000. SafeSkin continues today as the leading powder-free, latex glove brand in the world. Prior to SafeSkin, Mr. Jaffe founded a frozen dessert company in 1975. He successfully took the company public in 1984, later selling it to The Coca-Cola Company in 1985.

Pierre Jean Messier
Vice Chairman & Chief Scientific Officer
Mr. Messier is the inventor of the Safe Life antimicrobial and was the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Triosyn Corp. prior to its sale to Safe Life. He has worked for the last two decades as a researcher and product development specialist in the microbiological and bio-medical fields; since 1989, Mr. Messier’s work has focused on iodinated, resin technology.

JF LaRue
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Larue oversees the Company’s financial operations, including planning and analysis, controllership, internal audit, tax and treasury. Prior to joining Triosyn Corp. in 1998, Mr. Larue was a partner at Deloitte & Touche, in the Montreal office.

Christie Huff
Vice President, Marketing
Ms. Huff is a results-driven marketing executive with more than 20 years of experience. She has a passion for building brands and fueling revenue at diverse organizations from small start-ups to large Fortune 500s in the technology, software, financial services and information industries. Ms. Huff is a company spokesperson and leads all activities related to marketing, public relations and business development support.

CM Lee
Managing Director, Safe Life Asian Operations
Mr. Lee manages Safe Life’s Asian operations. He joined SafeSkin Corporation, Malaysia in 1988 as Managing Director, and was responsible for the start-up and expansion of the company’s manufacturing facilities, which produced over 6.5 billion gloves annually and won several industry awards.

Benoit Sicotte
General Manager
Mr. Sicotte oversees research and development as well as manufacturing at Safe Life’s facilities in Mirabel and Vermont. Prior to joining Safe Life in 2008, he spent 11 years with Biorthex, first as vice present of research and development and later as CEO. He also spent 13 years working for Smith & Nephew, where he occupied several managerial positions. Mr. Sicotte holds a BS in engineering from the University of Sherbrooke and an MBA from the University of Quebec in Montreal.

Mike Sposa
Area Vice President, East Coast Sales
Mr. Sposa manages sales for Safe Life in the eastern United States. Most recently, he was Director of Sales for both the Temperatures and Pain Management divisions of Kimberly-Clark Healthcare. Prior to that, Mr. Sposa was Vice President of Sales for SafeSkin. His 26-year career also includes a stint as Director of Sales for Southeastern Hospital Supply.

Patrick Baird
Vice President, Government Sales
Mr. Baird manages government sales for Safe Life in the United States. Prior to joining Safe Life, he was the associate director of federal institutions at Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals. He has also held executive level government and healthcare sales positions with companies such as Darco International, Aradigm Corporation, GD Searle, Prudential, Baxter Travenol and Beecham Laboratories.

Lynn Detlor
Vice President, Healthcare Business Development
Mr. Detlor is responsible for the development of healthcare products and business opportunities for Safe Life. He has more than thirty years of experience in the procurement of products and supplies for the healthcare marketplace. Most recently, Mr. Detlor was the President of Premier Purchasing Partners and was responsible for a combined purchasing volume of $15 billion annually.

Albert Rego, Ph.D.
Vice President, RA/QA and Scientific Application
Dr. Rego is a scientific consultant to the regulated industries with more than 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, a span that includes positions at Baxter Healthcare, Allergan and Procter & Gamble. His areas of specialization are in the national and international regulatory aspects of the scientific testing requirements for chemical, biological and sterilization technologies.

Joseph F. Damico
Founding Partner and Operating Principal, RoundTree Healthcare Partners
Mr. Damico has more than 29 years of healthcare industry operating experience, having served as Executive Vice President of Cardinal Health and Group President of Allegiance Corporation. He also held senior management positions at Baxter Healthcare and American Hospital Supply. Mr. Damico currently serves as Chairman of the Board for ACI Medical Devices, Ascent Healthcare Solutions, Aspen Surgical Products, Avalign Technologies, and MedAssist Holdings. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Bioniche Pharma Group, Core Pharma Holdings, Excelsior Medical and Manor Care.

Ron Taylor
Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, Pyxis Corporation
Mr. Taylor has been involved with early-stage and high-growth companies, mostly in healthcare, for more than 35 years. Following a successful IPO, Pyxis was sold to Cardinal Health. Mr. Taylor currently serves on the Board of Directors of Aethon Corporation, Asteres Corp., 3E Company, emn8 Corp., ResMed and Watson Pharmaceuticals.

Mr. Evans sits on several Boards of several technology and bio-medical companies, including the non-profit Altarum Institute; EOTech, Inc., an optics sighting company; Knowledge Vector, Inc., a homeland security company; and eStara Communications, a voice-over IP company.

Eve Kurtin
Partner, VantagePoint Venture Partners
Ms. Kurtin joined VantagePoint from Pacific Venture Group (PVG), where she was Managing Director, and brings more than 20 years of experience to the firm as an operating executive and investor in healthcare. Prior to PVG, she was the founder and CEO of Physician Venture Management, and was a Vice President of American Medical International (Tenet). She currently serves on the Board of the American Physician Foundation and is a founding member of the RAND Health Board of Advisors

David L. Dennis
Founder, Evanston Advisors, Inc.
Mr. Dennis is a seasoned executive with more than 25 years of experience in the broad healthcare industry. His career includes 20 years as an investment banker with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Merrill Lynch, three years as a senior executive with Tenet Healthcare, and three years as managing director at Pacific Venture Group. In addition, Mr. Dennis spent 15 years on the board of directors at Westwood One, Inc. (NYSE), most recently as chairman of the company’s strategic review committee. Mr. Dennis also spent four years in the U.S. Air Force and three years in the Defense Attaché Office at the U.S. Embassy in Lisbon, Portugal.
